Hello!

My name is Joselynn Sanchez, and I am a senior at The University of Alabama pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in News Media, with a minor in Communication Studies and a concentration in Sports Media.

I currently serve as a Photography Editing Intern with the Dallas Mavericks, where I am gaining experience in professional sports photography, photo editing, and visual content production within an NBA organization.

For the past three years, I have worked as a Student Assistant Photographer for Crimson Tide Photos, the official photography department for Alabama Athletics. In this role, I cover Division I sporting events, assist with media day productions, and provide live editing and content delivery for athletic communications and marketing teams.

I am experienced in PhotoShelter, Photo Mechanic, and Adobe Creative Suite, and I work with professional camera systems including the Canon R3 and Sony a7III, along with remote camera setups, strobe lighting, and studio environments.

Beyond Alabama Athletics, I have created content for organizations including Nike, PBR, SWAC, Birmingham Legion FC, ECNL, and Urban Pitch, gaining experience across collegiate, professional, youth, and sports media environments.

My passion is telling stories through sports photography and visual media while continuing to grow within the professional sports industry.
